today is one of those days i would skive and go sit in the park or climb arthur's seat and just ignore the amount of work sitting next to me...
on another note, someone told me recently that a realization he made one day was that people could be at their best, and the world will still be at its worst... i find it easy to look around at the disasters in the world and be overwhelmed by the state of our home planet, and i find it equally easy to focus in on the little things in life that are simply amazing and full of goodness... they both exist at the same time... as pessimistic as that statement may seem, its reality... i don't think its a bad thing, just true... its frustrating and dumbfounding when the world's problems overshadow the goodness that people can bring to the world... we just can't give up, that's the key to it all, i think...
